Presentation
Antoine Collomb-Patton explores the mountains with determination and energy, skis on his feet, consistently seeking new challenges. A passionate para-cross-country skier, he uses his deafness as a driving force to continuously push his limits and fully experience every moment on the slopes.
Born with near-total deafness, Antoine was introduced to cross-country skiing as a child by his father. After years of competing alongside hearing athletes, he joined the French Paralympic Nordic Ski team in 2019 and has been representing France in parasports since 2020. In 2024, he made history by securing France’s first bronze medal in deaf Nordic skiing at the Winter Deaflympics.
Alongside his sports career, Antoine works as a mold tool technician in plastic injection and actively visits schools and businesses to raise awareness about disability, share his journey, and champion his core values: grit, self-improvement, and confidence. A true mountain lover with a deep commitment to its preservation, Antoine continues to inspire, with the ambition of representing France at the highest level and showing that deafness is never a limit.
