Climbing Belay Devices & Descenders
Self-locking system, dynamic belaying, versatile descender
For your rope ascents, abseiling, or belaying your partner on a route, your equipment must be suitable. A self-locking system will allow you to free your hands during rope work or suspended pauses on your rope, but it is not recommended for belaying a lead climber. The choice of a descender should be adapted to the diameter of your rope to enhance braking in one direction and allow smooth sliding to quickly take in slack. The technical innovations of a Reverso or Grigri will enable you to belay in top rope without effort, and your manipulations on the cliff or at belay stations will become quicker. Lightweight, compact, and multifunctional, learn to handle your descender to react in any situation.
